Last updated: April 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your use of the Corem8 platform operated by Core M8 Ltd. This policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service. By using Corem8, you agree to comply with this policy.

1. Prohibited Activities

You must not:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
  • Upload, transmit, or store any malicious code, viruses, trojans, worms, or any software intended to damage or alter a computer system or data
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other user accounts, computer systems, or networks connected to the Service
  • Scrape, crawl, spider, or use any automated means to access or extract data from the Service without our prior written consent
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Service
  • Use the Service to send unsolicited communications, spam, or bulk messaging to individuals who have not consented to receive them
  • Store, upload, or transmit any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
  • Share your login credentials with any other individual or allow multiple people to use a single user account
  • Use automated tools, scripts, or bots to stress-test, overload, or otherwise disrupt the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or the data contained therein
  • Resell, sublicence, or redistribute access to the Service without our prior written consent

2. Data Responsibilities

2.1 You are responsible for the accuracy, quality, and legality of all data you upload, input, or process through the Service.

2.2 You must have obtained all necessary consents and legal authority to collect, store, and process the personal data of your customers, employees, and contractors through Corem8.

2.3When processing your customers' personal data through Corem8, you act as the data controller for that data. You must comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 in relation to any personal data you process.

2.4 You must not upload or store any special category data (as defined by GDPR Article 9), including health data, biometric data, or data revealing racial or ethnic origin, unless strictly necessary for your business operations and you have a lawful basis to do so.

2.5 You must not use the Service to store payment card numbers, bank account details, or other sensitive financial credentials. All payment processing must be handled through the designated payment integrations (Stripe).

3. Account Security

3.1 Use a strong, unique password for your Corem8 account that is not shared with any other service.

3.2 Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) when available to add an additional layer of security to your account.

3.3 Notify us immediately at hello@corem8.com if you become aware of any unauthorised access to your account or any security breach.

3.4Do not share your account with other individuals. Each user should have their own account within your organisation's Corem8 workspace.

3.5 You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorised it.

4. Fair Usage

4.1 API rate limits apply to all accounts. You must not exceed the published rate limits or attempt to circumvent them.

4.2 Bulk operations (such as mass imports, bulk updates, or batch processing) must be conducted at a reasonable rate and volume. If you need to perform unusually large bulk operations, please contact us in advance.

4.3 Storage usage should be consistent with normal business operations. We reserve the right to contact you if your storage usage significantly exceeds the norm for your subscription plan.

4.4 AI features (powered by Claude) are subject to fair usage limits based on your subscription plan. AI credit consumption is tracked and displayed in your account dashboard.

  • A written warning specifying the violation
  • Temporary suspension of your account
  • Permanent termination of your account and access to the Service
  • Removal of offending content or data
  • Reporting the violation to relevant law enforcement authorities

5.2 In cases of serious or repeated violations, we may take action without prior notice. Where possible, we will attempt to notify you and provide an opportunity to remedy the violation before taking action.
